It was a clear day when I saw Denali on one of my trips to Alaska. For years I have thought of different ways to portray the United States’ tallest mountain but couldn’t quite come up with the composition. That was until now. Adding in one of the bald eagles I saw, our national bird, and I had the story I wanted to tell.
