Walking among penguins (and having them walk over your boots) is an unparalleled experience. I had the chance to visit rookeries of four penguin species on my trip to Antarctica. The most striking was the chinstrap rookery. The climbing feat they performed over boulders to reach just the right spot for nesting was amazing.
