From an original oil by Linda Besse - 16" X 24" Most of the time it is the animal which inspires me to paint a particular piece. Near the Platte River in Nebraska I was inspired by the color play of shadowed snow against the brilliant spent corn fields. Having sandhill cranes there was icing on the cake.
