ORIGINAL OIL by Linda Besse -18" X 28" SOLD The Drake Passage has some of the world's most treacherous seas. Sailors for centuries have counted their blessings after making it through alive. The mountains of water made me think back to deckhands who would have clung to the rigging as their sailing ship creaked against the raging seas. A lone albatross was their only sign that life existed outside their tiny vessel.. |
